OVERVIEW of ART TOUR
What better way to spend a lovely spring weekend than in exploring local art?  Kingston Ontario boasts a very large, active and diverse arts community, the envy of many other cities.  For the 20th year, on May 5 to May 6th artists participating in the Interconnected Art Spring Art Tour will open their homes, studios and guest sites to visitors.  A huge variety of artwork will be on view, everything from pottery, jewellery, handmade furniture, photography to painting, collage and printmaking – truly something for everyone!  Many of Kingston’s premier artists participate in this tour.  Save yourself a trip to a Toronto gallery, and visit them more conveniently in Kingston. The Interconnected Art Spring Tour will be a great chance to visit a wide selection of local artists in one weekend.  This year, eight of the artists will be displaying their work at Sydenham Street United Church (SSUC), while several other artists have gathered to display their works in one location.  Maps and details about the artists participating are available on this website. This is a self-directed art tour - with no admission fee.
